Blink! It’s Gone!

Malcolm Gladwell’s Blink! is a must read for anybody entering the Internet Business.

The main idea I love about the book is how people make decision in just a split second - so often, aware or unaware, that the results beat thorough decision making process.

In my opinion, Blink! has got to do with sports - basketball, football, tennis, etc. - because decision making is made in a blink, rather a well-thought decision. There are some exceptions, though - like chess.

In business world, it’s often that we decide in a blink - people working on the stock exchange floor knows this for sure.

Blink! is also true for Internet Business - this is what I’m going to share with you :)

You see, sometimes waiting for another 10 minutes online is not such a good idea - I lost a great investment simply because I need 10 more minutes to think about it.

And it’s not the only one I lose!

Many of my past deals online are gone - with no such offer emerging again, at least in the near future - because I wait another 10 minutes to think and gather courage :)

Those teach me a lesson - if you are dealing with business online, the marketplace moves so fast, that a split-second decision making is needed to get the best of it.

Yes, good offers come and go, but excellent ones are rarely found online, in my opinion.

So, if you are keen to do Internet business but haven’t read Malcolm Gladwell’s Blink!, you better start reading now before you lose your once in a lifetime deal online.

And, oh, sure you can’t always have your eyes fixed on the deals you aim, but you can ask for other people help to do so for you - a virtual assistant, perhaps?

Cheers and good luck on you online business journey.

  1. Thanks for this article about Blink. Actually it is my first time to hear about it… and I am sure I can use it a guide in my online journey.

  2. Hye,

It’s a great read - Many people don’t like the idea in Malcolm’s book, but I like his idea that a lot of business decisions are often done in a blink of an eye, with a better end result.

But be warned, though - your intuition and business experience play big roles in blink decision making :)

    Thanks for your visit!
