Moving Franchise - Going Green Opportunity
I’ve involved in franchising fore some years, and I vision franchises to be the driving entities of regional economy.
Franchises also have the great potential to make a difference, thanks to the inherited perk - replicative in nature.
If you own a franchised company, investors will spread your vision in exponential fashion. If you are a potential franchisee, investing in one that has the vision to make a difference will result in both financial and social reward.

I know there is a mag on franchising and much info on the net yet how do you choose which one to buy? When you say you have been “involved” - in what way? How does one ascertain whether the kind of product / service and way the franchise works is a match for one’s experience and interests?

Kare,
In my case, I use the resources as a guide - My no. 1 way to choose which one to buy is by existing franchisees’ testimonial. IMO, they are the best source of information by far :)
I ‘involve’ in franchising given the fact that I am a franchisee of a local franchise myself. I work closely with my franchisor, as well as with fellow franchisees, and have good relationship with them.
Regarding finding the right franchise that match one’s experience and interests, my basic rule of thumbs would be: choose one that can get you talk to others about it all day long :)
Cheers, Kare!
