100 Words for Obama’s First 100 Days: A Contest
First of all, I’d like to congratulate President elect Barack Obama, and wishing for him to bring changes not only to the US people, but also to the people of the world.
Now, the eyes from all over the worlds are watching Obama’s every move and every decision, especially in the first 100 days in office.
As you might already knew, since Franklin D. Roosevelt every President of the US’ accomplishment will be measured during the first 100 days of his leadership.
Along with the inauguration of President Obama, I notice than some businesses link their business campaign with Obama’s first 100 days. One of the businesses is MWW Group, one of US’ Top 10 public relations agencies.
This might interest you: “100 Words for 100 Days” – A competition that reward the winning organisation $30,000 worth of PR and individual $5000 internship.
MWW Group has launched a competition that requires you to answer these questions, “What Change Are You Ready For In The First 100 Days? What Can YOU Do to Bring About This Change?” in 100 words.
The winning entry will be rewarded handsomely (I myself want to give it a shot! :D)
The winning organisation or business will be awarded $30,000 worth of public relations services for three months, and the winning individual will be awarded a $5,000 paid internship at any of MWW Group’s ten offices.
Quite an interesting proposition, I suppose…
You can access more information, including submitting your own idea from MWW Group’s 100 Words for 100 Days site.
Here’s a couple of my favourite entries from the site:
An opportunity to make a difference
I want to see Barack Obama follow through with his plan to create college scholarships for volunteer work. Since the MMW Group is an enthusiastic supporter of volunteerism, I would like to take this public relations internship opportunity to outreach to young Americans who are willing to make a difference through volunteer work.
