I completely agree with this article and with the point that Marcus made. With the amount of people using the internet it is absolutely vital to your business to build off of it. In fact i have noticed a lot of company’s that are completely internet based. Lets just for an example use audiobooks.net. They offer services like buying and renting audio books exclusively on the internet. This doesn’t only create new jobs but it helps people find a lot more sources for income and should help with the economic crisis.

Yes, there will be times when businesses online are making more money than their off line counterparts. Taking advantage as early as possible can only bring you ‘first-entry’ benefits – low(ish) competition, high conversion.

These are some really interesting stats. I must admit, they do not surprise me however. I am definitely convinced of the fact that the internet has become an absolutely vital part of everyday dealings, and that it would be a dire mistake to underestimate the importance of having a presence online, and doing business over the internet. I am also fascinated to see the factor of increase over the coming years in the use of the internet for business.
There are so many online solutions to creating new business opportunities and increasing customer satisfaction – even if it’s as simple as having an online portal for printing templates of customized documents (http://www.digitallizard.com/small-medium-business.php). I really think it’s essential to take advantage of all that’s out there.
