How to Access Thousands of Sales Opportunities in Tough Times
Why do we think this? Well, there plenty of reasons, but here are two. (And you can visit the Million Dollar Challenge website for plenty more.)
First, people don’t want to be sold to today. They want to feel connected and involved. The more people you can connect with, the easier sales becomes.
Secondly, social media is free and thus a recession friendly sales pipeline, if you know what you are doing.
The latest Digital Blitz episode of the Million Dollar Challenge Series brings you advice from digital experts like David Meerman Scott (author of The New Rules of Marketing and PR) and tech entrepreneur Bob Young (Red Hat and lulu.com).
It teaches you how to build a strong digital network by publishing fun, attractive, valuable content online, following the latest social marketing research and thinking.
You can watch this free video clip explaining more about Digital Blitz or apply to join the Challenge!

I disagree with the idea that “social media is free and thus a recession friendly sales pipeline” or at least think it needs to be expanded on. True, it is free in the terms that there are no sign up costs or fees. But your time is valuable so you should remember the cost of time spent creating content and networking.
Phil,
Ah, yes – You are right. I often forget that time is even more important than money… Point well taken :)
Thanks for your insight!
