This will send visitors from their website through the trackbacks.

Online Forums

You must make yourself visible in social media websites your competitors are present. You will be able to get a list of forums that are relevant to your niche by making a Google search by including your keywords in your search for example, “SEO Forum.” You can review the forums that are listed and signup in forums where your top competitors are already in discussions. Try to become part of those discussions. The idea here is to gain visibility in discussions where your customers are present. Remember to contribute in a positive way and make quality posts because your comments and input will be associated to your company, website, products, etc.

Here as well, the content you are posting should be something related to the critical issues in your niche. You need to project yourself as someone who is knowledgeable in this field and as someone that has solution to their problems. Always include your website’s link in you signature.

Listen to your Customers as well as your competitors

It is very important to pay attention to the changing demands of your customers and you need to make use of this information to modify your approach. Your products and services too should match the changing needs of your customers. The important part of the game is the ability to think out of the box before your competitors do. As long as internet marketing is concerned, you will be able to have your business up and running in a single day in most cases. In such a scenario, you must have the ability to adapt to change faster than your competitors or even create changes yourselves and be flexible.

Measure your Popularity

Fighting competition is all about making your customers choose your services over your competitors’ services. You must constantly measure your level of popularity and the level of customer satisfaction constantly. Working on one-on-one basis will not only be time consuming but it will also be impractical. Therefore, your ad copy should take into consideration all their concerns and convince them of your superiority.
