To me, it’s some of the better, plain truth, blog about blogging.

No, this post is not a pay per post or paid to blog thing :) It’s my real personal experience in my visit to the blog.

Rocky or Rocai, the man behind the blog, really do a good job - very intriguing blog posts and, again, simple and plain truth.

While some other bloggers provide the usual and mainstream hints and tips on blogging, this blog really put things in different perspective and challenge you in your face. Reading the posts makes you say, “ouch!” - a lot - in a good way.

Entrepreneurs-journey.com - by Yaro StarakI can’t help it. I respect Yaro Starak. His blog, entrepreneurs-journey.com, outshines most blogs in the blogosphere.

Just take a look on his blog stats:

    As at February 2008

    Unique visitors: 76,000+
    Page Views: 870,000+
    No of Articles/Pages: 1000+
Readership: 24,000+ readers according to Feedburner.com

OK, you might say that it’s only numbers. However, numbers do show you a picture, and they’re there because of some legit reasons - his blog DOES perform, and his content is powerful.

With all due respect to Yaro’s team, if you stripped Yaro’s blog to black text on white background, I’d still read his blog and so did the other 24,000 readers.

Yaro is indeed one of those pro bloggers - those who are gurus and pioneers in blogosphere, in helping people to make money online. I bet he changes many lives around the world.

His entrepreneurial journey is inspiring and shout “It IS possible to make money online!” His posts are of his years of experience in making money online - a timeless collection of best practices and trial-and-errors - You are easily engaged to his articles posted three years ago.

Noobpreneur.com Dropshipper listings reviewWith the recent issues on eBay - please read my previous post about this, The Tipping Point: eBay Got Tipped - dropshipping business takes a hard hit, simply due the fact that many eBay sellers use dropship method of order fulfillment. Since many sellers quitted eBay marketplace, the dropshipping business feels the impact, too.

However bad it might be, dropshipping will survive the downhill. Many web retailers depend on dropshippers - demands on dropshipping are still high, even considering the eBay slump.

What is dropshipping, anyway? In simplified explanation, dropshipping is a service provided by a wholesaler to process your order without you having an inventory.

    Where can I find dropshippers?

You can find dropshippers from the Internet, obviously. However, you should be careful, as some sites are claiming to be a legitimate wholesaler, which actually they are not - they are actually dropshippers themselves! So, do your research thoroughly, because scams are everywhere.

OneSource - Source of REAL DropshippersThe better place to find wholesalers is in the wholesaler directories. There are many sources of wholesalers, but I happen to trust one wholesalers directory - OneSource.

I have a reason saying that. I AM a member of OneSource. I use their service, and I found out that theirs are exceptional.

    The benefits of joining OneSource

I look to the free trial, and found out that OneSource is a great tool. You can search items to sell, maybe office furnitures, for example. You will instantly receive lists of dropshippers, light bulk wholesalers, bulk wholesalers, and liquidations. In short, the descriptions are as follow:

    • dropshippers are wholesalers that process your orders without the need for you to have inventory.
    • Light bulk wholesalers are wholesalers that permit you to purchase a small number of items in bulk, usually at a more cheaper price than dropship items.
    • Large Volume wholesalers are the conventional wholesalers that provide you a much cheaper price if you order a large amount, often a container-full of products.
    • Liquidations are less often to find - The wholesalers are usually possess excess inventory that will sold at low price tag, to clear inventory spaces.

OneSource has thousands of real wholesalers by checking their business and backgrounds one by one. So you are pretty much having a list of the most reliable wholesalers in the world - no exaggeration meant.

What’s better, they have an analytic tool to rate how competitive your chosen products are and how likely you will succeed in selling your chosen products. The analytic tool works by looking to the number of keywords searched through major search engines, the advertisements in place for that product, and the typical price tag sellers sell the product in eBay, and the number of similar products are listed in eBay at the moment. This is very useful for market research - neat! :)

I purchased OneSource services at USD 299, but they now offer a USD 30 discount. Not cheap at all, but having the features above and the benefits for you and your business, it is one of the most valuable investment I have ever make.

Your membership is for a LIFETIME, and with no additional or hidden cost. Member support is excellent. My emails are being replied within a day or two business day, with helpful information.

One thing bothering me about OneSource

I’ve joined OneSource’s affiliate program since it has good affiliate system - at least for publishers :) They adopt two-tier system, where you can get direct commision for accounts closed under your affiliate links, as well as an additional percentage of commission received by your sponsored publishers. This is good.

The not so good part is that they are actually has a list of banned publisher’s country of origin. They stated this in their agreement loud and clear - unfortunately, my country of origin are included in the list. As a logical result, my affiliate account was suspended (luckily I haven’t made any sales, yet).

I communicate the following statement - If there’s a banned country list, why would OneSource receive membership applications from ALL countries? What I meant was this - OneSource takes revenue from all over the world, while banning some countries from benefiting from selling their products. To me, it’s not really a good take and give policy.

I understand rules are rules, indeed, and I abide to them. But I ask for their explanation on this, just to satisfy my curiosity. While I received a basic explanation over my question about my suspended affiliate account, I didn’t receive any reply on my next email about the logic of their affiliate agreement.

Perhaps they are still finding a good reason on this matter? I really have no idea. Nevertheless, OneSource is beyond my expectation. I recommend OneSource for you!

Since I am not their affiliate (although I wanted to be one), you can pretty much trust me on this review :)

    Happy dropshipping!

  • Green Investments - It is Time to Go Green and it is HOT Right Now!

Green Investments - It is Time to Go Green and it is HOT Right Now!The green movements are already begun. People eat more organics than ever. Companies and corporations go green to conserve energy and to be socially responsible. Nations are gathering to talk about the pressing issues of global warming.

Those, amplified with the current recession in many parts of the world, including the US, push investors to seek for green organisations to invest in - Those who aim to enhance the environment and the people live in it; those who invent new things that could repair or alter environmental change; those who discover new technology that allow less dependency on fossil fuel consumptions; and so on.

One online company, Green-Investments.net, established in 1997, is one of those who handle projects in green investments. Located in Monaco, Green-Investments.net operates mainly online to manage green projects and investor funds. They offer qualified investors opportunities to invest in renewable energy sources. They premise and promise:

Green-Investments.net - A lot of countries are building more and more power plants because the needs of people are getting bigger and bigger. Today wind farms and hydro power plants are very popular. We are specialized in co-financing these big projects. Our team is able to find the most profitable projects so that your money is returned in your hand doubled or tripled.

How can they make such claim? Green-Investment.net is an experienced company, started as precious metals and stocks investment, with a list of sound green investment:

    • Hydro power plant in Southern America
    • Hydro power plant in Eastern Europe
    • Wind farm in Germany
    • New Doha Airport in Qatar
Green-Investments.net Eastern Europe hydro power plant project

As they explained in their website, the type of investments they offer is a legitimate one - not a HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) nor a get-rich-quick scheme. Their policy of 100% money back guarantee will ensure all qualified investors safety of their investment funds. Regarding the minimum amount of investments, they recommend for online investor to invest a sum of US$ 200 or more in a project.

    Green-Investments.net fact sheet

Started: Oct 25, 2006; Total accounts: 4697; Total deposited: $5,295,598.00; Total withdraw: $3,753,598.00; Number of current projects: 4

Why You should be interested in green investments

Clearly there are a lot of demand on renewable energy - Rising oil prices, pressing issue of global warming, and the need to replace depleted, expensive sources of energy are the main driving factors. Fulfilling a strong demand almost always means excellent investment. This green investment is the type of investment you should prioritise on today.

I recommend you, who look for a business to invest in, to look for anything that are related to green investments, because it is time to go green and it is HOT right now!

  • The Tipping Point: eBay Got Tipped

I love The Tipping Point, written by Malcom Gladwell.

Consider this: “The best way to understand the dramatic transformation of unknown books into bestsellers, or the rise of teenage smoking, or the phenomena of word of mouth or any number of the other mysterious changes that mark everyday life,” writes Malcolm Gladwell, “is to think of them as epidemics. Ideas and products and messages and behaviors spread just like viruses do.”

I can’t help not to learn what happen to eBay recently - Some called another Enron case, some called one of the biggest (if not silly) mistakes a big company do. In some web forums I followed, the eBay Powersellers (those that, in my opinion, build eBay with their extraordinary products and services) wrote about the scandal in eBay and post comments - uncensored, first hand stories - the real truth. Many of the Powersellers left eBay to other marketplaces (including affiliate marketing arena) due to the recent developments. They spoke mainly about two turn-offs that finally made them couldn’t stand eBay anymore, and left the marketplace.

The first turn-off, is the increase of fees, which were actually reduced recently. The second - the biggest - turn-off - no negative or neutral feedbacks for buyers - THIS is the tipping point that causes many of eBay sellers, including Powersellers move out of eBay marketplace.

The result? Decline in popularity, business value, and credibility - particularly in the eyes of sellers. Like Malcom said, it was just like an epidemic - news, especially bad news, spread like viruses do.

I’m not going to judge whether this is considered a good move or not, but eBay must not forget that eBay marketplace is THERE because of the buyers and sellers are using it - by controlling how they interacts EXCESSIVELY, no matter how fraudulent they might be, will limit the ‘human’ side of the transaction.

Let’s see how eBay handle this - This is going to be a great case study!

You can’t deny the fact that outsourcing is so hip! From humongous companies, such as Microsoft, to your neighbourhood two-wheeler repair shop, Mike the Motorcycle Mechanics - all do outsourcing in a certain extent. Microsoft outsourced its Call Center operations overseas, while Mike the Motorcycle Mechanics outsourced its motorcycle detailing services.

It’s so hip, that nowadays, anyone try to handle his/her business by him/her-self will be considered as anti-social and socio-phobia! :D

Anyway, I was cordially invited by a business contact to have a look at her outsourcing business. As I explore her company website, I have to say something about it. With all due respect to other outsourcing companies, they may provide quality outsourcing services, but her outsourcing company IS hip, sociable and so web 2.0!

Prime Outsourcing, a Philippine-based outsourcing company, offer outsourcing services one step further - While other outsourcing companies battle for securing long-term call center contracts (it always happen in better-english-speaking Asian outsourcing providers, such as India, Malaysia and Philippine - They are battling to close call center deals with European and North American big companies), Prime Outsourcing differs itself from the rest. Here’s why.

    Internet-based Content outsourcing services

Sure, you’ll encounter this more and more often in the future, but right now Prime Outsourcing is one of the unique provider of this outsourcing niche.

From general tasks, such as search engine submission, email answering service, and message posting, to creative writing, such as blog posting, SEO writing, and daily website content writing - You feel that you should have this kind of service earlier! Other services includes web design and developing, graphic designing, and video editing - a complete package.

    Web 2.0-savvy Virtual Assistants

Although the concept of virtual assistant (VA) services is not new, the specialisation of web 2.0-savvy VA is quite new (and lucrative!). This area is currently in a high demand due to the inevitable facts that blogging and friendster-ing is not only for fun anymore - it’s the $$$ - and $$$ will only come if ads, posts and contents are being written right and on target. Prime Outsourcing can do this for you.

So many things to talk about Prime Outsourcing, but rather than blabber with useless words, I’d suggest that you should better be visiting their website now if you are really thinking about outsourcing your works.
