Black Friday 2009 results are in – This year Black Friday sales rises to $10.66 billion – only 0.5 percent year-to-year improvement from last year, as reported by Reuters and ShopperTrak.
The results are not really encouraging, but nevertheless an increase is an increase, indeed. Retailers are agreeing on this too – They don’t show any signs of slowing down.
Following the Black Friday, Cyber Monday – the Monday following the Black Friday and the busiest day of the year for e-commerce – is about to begin (or has already begun by many online retailers.)
