Repeat after me: Recession is rarely being the culprit of your small business failure. You often are.

I did blame the economic downturn as the culprit of my business failure that almost gets me into personal bankruptcy.

I did blame the low buying power for my business failure.

Whining and nagging are humane. However, I heard of them too much these days, especially in this recession times.

It’s time for entrepreneurs to do what they are supposedly good at – bootstrapping.

I don’t know how about you, but I view business owners can only call themselves entrepreneurs if, and only if, their main focus in business is cost-cutting – one major element of bootstrapping.
