We owe a lot to members of the military and veterans. They put their lives at risk for us every day, keeping us safe and free. These courageous men and women deserve our gratitude, support and admiration. And we should not only thank them but their families as well.

Many military spouses have to support and take care of children on their own while their significant other is away. Add to that the worry that these spouses live through every day, wondering if their loved ones are safe and when they might come home, and the military life is just as hard on the families of those who serve as it is on the active member of the military.

As of 2016, there were over 2.2 million people nationwide who were actively serving in the United States military or on reserve, and millions upon millions more American military Veterans. Add to that the members of their families who are directly affected by their service, and that’s a lot of people to thank.

MINI of Edison has a special initiative that is designed to thank both current members of the military and veterans for their service and sacrifice. They offer great lease and purchase incentives that could save qualified buyers up to $1,000 when leasing or purchasing a new MINI Cooper. The program also offers 10% off all parts that may require changing during regular servicing. This helps ensure that their vehicle continues to be safe for them and their families at a price that they can afford.

This initiative is available to all US military personnel, even those stationed overseas. Military personnel who are deployed overseas benefit from monetary discounts, tax-free purchasing and international warranty.

College Grad Program

Going to college is hard, and graduating is even more of a challenge. Even for those who graduate and find employment, paying back those college loans can be difficult. Many college graduates struggle to pay their bills on their entry level job salary, and this may mean that they have to sacrifice one of the most important tools to getting to work on time: a vehicle.

MINI of Edison has a great incentive program for recent college graduates with an undergraduate, graduate or associate degree if they can prove they are employed or have a verifiable offer of employment. The dealership’s Financial Services will put $500 towards the lease or financing of eligible MY15, MY16 or MY17 MINI Coopers. They will also offer their Super Elite rate to all Standard Plus customers.

In order to be eligible for this program, students must have had graduated within the last 12 months or be eligible for graduation within the next 4 months. They must be employed or have a verifiable offer of employment, a letter from their employer and contact information for the Human Resources representative.

With this program, MINI of Edison hopes to help college graduates have access to a vehicle at a price they can afford as they pave the way to success!
