I think too many small businesses overlook them. I've had one since 2000 and it has evolved as the technology has evolved. Today, it's hosted on NING at http://www.indiebeauty.com and there are over 7,000 people there connecting around their passion for handmade beauty products. I am going to be looking at BuddyPress soon for an elite group of business owners I can mentor personally. Thanks for this super reminder!
