Black Friday 2012:’s Recommended Deals (plus Store Opening Hours and Ads)

Black Friday 2012 (November 23, 2012) is finally around the corner! As always, it’s a great time not only for consumers but also for businesses to grab some deals. Small business owners need to watch their budget closely – so this year’s Black Friday (along with Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday) is the right time to save big on things you are planning to buy to support your small business operational.

I’m not normally buy things following the trends, but I do enjoy visiting retailer’s sites for deals and I do have a go-to site for this purpose, (no, we are not affiliated with the site…) There are plenty of deals you can benefit from – and with this post I would like to recommend you some of them; check ’em out:

Office furniture

Okay, let’s start with furniture. I work at home so of course, the following recommendations are geared toward home offices.

From Office Depot, I discover some nice deals you might want to check out: If you need a larger table for workspace in your limited office space, I would recommend Realspace Folding Table ($29.99, from $59.99) – clean, simple, and can be folded to help you safe space. More space-saving idea? Consider Realspace Magellan Corner Desk ($89.99, from $199.99) which allows you to utilise space in your room’s corner as your workstation.

Spending long hours in front of your laptop (like me)? You need a desk that can ergonomically support you, like this Ergocraft Ashton L-Shaped Desk ($49.99, from $119.99) from Staples (more Staples Black Friday 2012 ad.)

From OfficeMax, I personally like Brent Dog Leg Desk ($129.99, from $179.99) offering you clean-looking office space. For office chairs from OfficeMax, I recommend you Glee II Mid-Back Manager Chair ($39.99, from $79.99.) There is more furniture on sale – 30% off – at OfficeMax, you’d better check out OfficeMax Black Friday 2012 ad.

There are, of course, more office furniture from major retailers, such as Walmart and Staples – be sure to check their ads below…

Gadgets and equipments

Let’s move on to office equipments and gadgets. For your printing needs there are plenty of deals, such as Canon PIXMA Wireless All-In-One Desktop Printer ($40 off, now $39.99) from Office Depot and Epson LabelWorks LW-300 Label Printer ($9.99, from $39.99) from OfficeMax. I would also recommend you to take OfficeMax 8-Sheet Micro-Cut Shredder ($29.99, from $79.99) for huge discounts.

Need data storage for your home office? I recommend Seagate GoFlex 2TB Home Personal Cloud Storage System ($99.99, from $159.99) sold at Office Depot. How about Garmin Nuvi 50LM GPS ($99.99, from $169.99) from OfficeMax to help you meet clients easier?

Looking for laptops for your small business? You might want to check out Dell’s (pre-)Black Friday sales… Dell launches laptop deals offering massive discounts: Dell XPS 8500 Desktop – $175 off, now $699.99; Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition Laptop – $389 off, now $899.99; Dell Inspiron 15R Laptop – $50 off, now $499.99.

For more small business deals, go to Dell SOHO

Location independent like me? Doing business on-the-go? These might interest you: ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 32GB Tablet – $100 off, now $299.99 (via Office Depot) and Apple iPad 2 Wi-Fi 16GB w/$75 Gift Card (In-Store Only) – now $399.99 (via Walmart.)

How about some USB flash drives? has nice deals with more than 50 percent discounts: Kingston Digital DataTraveler 101 USB 2.0 Generation 2 – 16 GB Flash Drive – now $9.93, was $42; SanDisk Cruzer Fit 16 GB USB Flash Drive – now $11.24, was $82.99.

If none of these fits your specifications or budget then it would be a good idea to look at a place like Memory Suppliers where you can design something specifically for your needs.

Whichever things you are planning to buy for your small business needs, be sure to have a list and a budget before you go shopping! Without either, there’s a good chance for things to go awry!
